Please, be ready to take this step. It takes time, it takes thought, and it takes money.
If you are just contemplating a change for your blog take a look at my questionnaire and see if you can answer these questions.
If you are still not sure you can apply for a consultation and use a smaller investment to get a better picture of if you want to take your blog to the next level.

If you are not comfortable with computers in general Blogger is a better choice for your starter blog. If you have some experience or are committed to learning what you need to do a successful job then WordPress is a flexible, affordable choice.
What you should have:
Your copy. I need something to design around. At the minimum you should have a splendiferous bio for yourself and an awesomesauce mission/vision statement for your site/shop/blog that tells people what you are doing.
Your imagery. If you do not have a logo I can develop one for you at an additional cost, or we can create a look for you included with the base rate. People trust people, so a photo of yourself, preferably a decent headshot, is necessary.
Your domain and hosting logins. If I can’t get in I can’t do jack, feel free to temporarily change these passwords.
Your payment. This holds your place in our schedule and provides me with coffee to keep me awake to read your questionnaire.
